Our mission is to provide unwavering support of the Jewish people in their God-given and sovereign homeland, Israel. Texans for a Safe Israel is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that proudly assists Jewish communities in Israel with provisions needed for living. Our projects focus on support in Jerusalem, Judea, and Samaria, as well as education and interfaith initiatives in North Texas.
Texans for a Safe Israel provided security cameras for vulnerable communities in the Judean Hills, equipment which Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu acknowledges protected Israelis during this past year’s barrage of incendiary fire kites, fire balloons, knife attacks, car rammings, and rocket fire. We donated five bullet-proof vests to a community security patrol, but they need at least three hundred more. Click here to help!
Texans for a Safe Israel has also helped emerging Jewish communities in Samaria build mikvahs, ritual baths that we learned are more vital to a religious community than even a synagogue building or a school! We have joined our Jewish brethren as they joyously and gratefully “welcomed” Torah scrolls into their synagogues and celebrated Shabbat at their homes — or brought it into our home here in Granbury, Texas!
A portion of our budget is dedicated to education and fellowship, as we host speakers to teach us our shared heritage from their time-honored tradition and to tell their personal stories. In addition, we are honored to provide these brave individuals and families a few days respite in a kosher guest house along Los Brazos de Dios, our headquarters on the site the Spaniards called “The Arms of God.”
We believe every visitor we have had is a true hero or heroine. Against all odds, and often at great personal risk, they have followed God’s calling to return to HIS LAND and to serve His people according to the unchanged Torah laws they received from Moses at Mount Sinai and observe to this day. Texans for a Safe Israel is proud to be among those who bless the Chosen people and we believe we are blessed in return.
